187 Additions and Corrections We wish to thank the Committee on Heraldry of the New England Historic Genealogical Society for permission to reprint the coats of arms used in A. Day Bradley's article "Annigerous American Quakers". The articles "A Roll of Arms" have been published intermittently since 1928 by The New England Historical & Genealogical Register. "New Genealogical Trends in the Hereditary Societies" by Robert LeConte Halberstadt is an adaptation of a speech he made to the annual meeting of the American Society of Genealogists in Philadelphia on 10 October 1981. A lack of space has resulted in postponing further publication of Aubrey H. Baldwin's "Pennsylvanians in New England". The article will be continued in the next issue. The editor regrets two errors that were misprinted in Harold H. Fehr's article "The Mulford Family: Annotations' and Corrections" in volume XXXII, number 2. On page 1, the Cornwall Record Society was unfortunately identified as the Cornwall Research Society. On page 3, in reference to the College of Arms, the title of the four Persuivants was mispelied. We wish to apologize to Mr. Fehr for the errors made in transcriptions. In "A Genealogist's Guide to Pennsylvania Records", volume XXXI, number 2, page 126, the last names of two ministers in the General Pennsylvania List of Church Records were omitted. The references should read, "Reformed Church Records of the Reverend John Conrad Bucher, 17631769". XCh/13; and "Reformed Church Records of the Reverend John Christopher Gobrecht, 1763-1773." XCh/13. THE GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY OF PENNSYLVANIA 1300 Locust Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19107 Founded in 1892, The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania was among the first in the United States to recognize the value of collecting and preserving the vital and personal records of those ancestors whose lives now comprise our American history. The continuing dedication to this service enables the Society to make an increasingly significant contribution to the cultural life of our city, our state, and indeed the whale country. Concentrating primarily on Pennsylvania and the twelve other original states, The Genealogical Society has available to amateur and professional researchers a vast wealth of source material including wilts; census and tax lists; church registers; funeral, cemetery and family Bible records. It maintains a comprehensive card index of the entire collection and members may go into the stacks to browse among the volumes at their leisure. The collection is also accessible to nonmembers in the Reading Room by desk call. The Society publishes in its Pennsylvania Genealogical Magazine, issued semi-annually, both scholarly articles and an interesting variety of genealogical gleanings. A subscription to the magazine is included in the membership fee. Lectures, panel discussions, tours and other activities are held during the year, from September through May. The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania is financially supported by endowment funds created over the years by concerned individuals and by the dues and contributions of those presently enrolled as members. Their are five membership categories: Annual Member $20.00; Contributing Annual Member $30.00; Husband and Wife Members $25.00; Life Member $400.00 at one time and Benefactor Member $500.00 at one time.
