Additions and Corrections The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania will conduct a workshop fo the Genealogical and Historical Societies of Pennsylvania, New jersey Delaware and Maryland, Monday, April 21, 1980, 10:00 AM to 4:30 P at the Hall of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, 1300 Locust Street, Philadelphia. The workshop will be opened with an address by William J. Wewer, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, Harrisburg. There will be three panels, as follows: Organization of a Society, leader, Mary K. Meyer. Mrs. Meyer has been a professional genealogist for thirty years, and is presently the Genealogical Librarian at the Maryland Historical Society in Baltimore. She is the founder and president of the Genealogical Council of Maryland. Programs and Publicity, leader, Dale Fields. Mr. Fields was, until recently, Executive Director of the Historical Society of Delaware, and formerly Archivist of the City of Philadelphia. Volunteer Projects, leader, Kenn Stryker-Roddy. Dr. Stryker-Roddy is a Fellow and former president of The American Society of Genealogists, The National Genealogical Society and The Genealogical Society of New Jersey. Since the number of subscribers for the workshop will be limited, those interested in attending are urged to contact the office of The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania, 1300 Locust Street, Philadelphia, in order to have their names put on the mailing list. More complete details of fees and registration forms will be mailed to Genealogical and Historical Societies early in 1980. In the article "A Genealogical Exhibition", PGM, XXXI, 48, the memorial brass rubbing, ca. 1603, of Richard and Elizabeth (Twyne) Brooke was done in 1973 by Scott M. Wilds, not by Robert Brooke as stated in the article. The editor regrets the error and offers apologies to Mr. Wilds. In the Annual Report, PGM, XXXI, 64, under Fellowship Committee, it was announced that no new Fellows had been elected in 1978. This is an error, the election of Dorothee Hughes Carousso occurred in March 1978. See PGM, XXX, 209. We apologize for the omission. Under Information Wanted, PGM, XXXI, 74, for Wible family, the figures for the birth date of Martin Wible were transposed. The correct date is 1839, not 1893 as printed. We are pleased to announce that one of our members, Helen E. Davis, has been awarded the first prize in the 1979 Parker Genealogy Contest sponsored by the Maryland Historical Society. Her work, Kindred: Stansbury-Davis-Lines, published by Dorrance & Company, Ardmore, Pennsylvania, is a carefully detailed genealogical study which traces the ancestory of the Davis-Stansbury families in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. Miss Davis has retired after working for thirty years as a librarian at the Logan branch of the Philadelphia Free Library. She lives in Newtown, Pennsylvania. 190
