NOTICE OF SPECIAL LECTURES Plans are being made by the Genealogical Society to present in October, 1964, a second series of four special lectures similar to those offered in 1963. Estate proceedings, civil vital records and tax and assessment lists as sources of information for genealogical research will be the subjects covered in these lectures. Mrs. F. Spencer Roach, a Fellow of this Society and of the American Society of Genealogists, has again agreed to present the lectures. They will cover the same material as that presented in the two Courses in Genealogical Methods sponsored by the Society in 1956 and 1958. Each lecture will be held once a week from 2 to 4:00 p.m. in the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, 1300 Locust Street, Philadelphia, Penna. A charge of $15 for the four lectures, single lectures at $5, will be made. Those interested in enrolling are invited to send their names to the Genealogical Society, 1300 Locust Street, Philadelphia, Penna., 19107. Enrollment is open to non-members as well as to members of this Society.
